Jigsaw Sudoku
Sudoku with irregular shaped regions instead of 3×3 boxes.

Objective
Fill the entire 9×9 grid following row and column rules, but instead of regular 3×3 boxes, use irregular jigsaw-shaped regions. Each region must contain digits 1-9 without repetition.
Rules
Row Rule
Each horizontal row must contain all digits from 1 to 9 without repetition.
Column Rule
Each vertical column must contain all digits from 1 to 9 without repetition.
Region Rule (DIFFERENT)
Each irregular jigsaw-shaped region (not standard 3×3 boxes) must contain all digits from 1 to 9 without repetition. The grid still has 9 regions, but they have unique shapes.
Solving Tips
- 1.
Pay close attention to region boundaries - they're not regular 3×3 boxes anymore.
- 2.
Irregular region shapes create unique solving patterns you won't find in classic Sudoku.
- 3.
Some regions may span multiple rows or columns in unexpected ways.
- 4.
Use the unique region constraints to your advantage - they often provide different insights.
